The validation workshop under the project on Support to Implementation of Bangladesh Delta Plan (SIBDP) 2100 was held on 09 December 2025. Dr. Monzur Hossain, Member (Secretary), General Economics Division (GED), Bangladesh Planning Commission graced the workshop as Chief Guest; Engr Md. Reazul Islam, Chairman, Rajdhani Unnayan Kartripakkha (RAJUK), and Mr. M. Mahmud Ali, Director (Additional Secretary), Urban Development Directorate (UDD) joined as Special Guests. Dr Farhana Ahmed, Principal Scientific Officer, CEGIS presented the report. The validation workshop was well-participated by stakeholders from different ministries and agencies-engaged in Adaptive Delta Management and urban issues. Experts from different professional institutes and bodies such as BIP, WARPO, IWM also participated and opined their valuable insights. Professor Dr. Rezaur Rahman, ex-Director, IWFM, BUET and Dr. Mashfiqus Salehin, Director, IWFM, BUET put their remarks as panel discussant. The need for a well-coordinated and inclusive adaptive approach for the investment programs in the region was the concerted outcome. Dr. S.M. Zobaidul Kabir, Joint Chief, Delta Wing chaired the event.
