A technical committee on National Transfer Account (NTA) met at GED on January 11, 2026. The Committee was formed by GED to review various technical aspects of population dynamics. In this meeting, overall progress of updating of NTA and methodologies were discussed. One of the key policy aspects aligned with NTA is to assess the current status of first and second demographic dividend, gender dividend etc. The updating of NTA is expected to be finished by June 2026.
