A consultation workshop on “Agriculture and Rural Transformation: Policies for Growth, Diversification and Sustainability” was held at GED yesterday. The aim of this workshop is to receive feedback from relevant ministries and stakeholders. A presentation was made by Dr. KAS Murshid, former DG, BIDS and head of Economic Taskforce. We aim to publish a policy brief on the topic to facilitate evidence-based policymaking through incorporating inputs in the medium-term and long-term policy strategy of the government.
