A Leap Towards Sustainable Progress: Bangladesh Presents First National SDGs Communications Strategy and Action Plan for 2024-2030
In a landmark event held on 27 June 2024, UNOPS Bangladesh in collaboration with the SDG Affairs Unit of the Prime Minister’s Office, presented the First National SDGs Communications Strategy and Action Plan (NSCSAP) for 2024-2030.
The Honorable State Minister of the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh, Mr. Mohammad Ali Arafat MP, graced the event as the Chief Guest while Mr. Md. Akhter Hossain, Principal Coordinator for SDG Affairs at the Prime Minister’s Office; Dr. Md. Kawser Ahmed, Member (Secretary), General Economics Division, Bangladesh Planning Commission; and Ms. Gwyn Lewis, the UN Resident Coordinator in Bangladesh were present as the Special Guests. This pioneering strategy is the nation’s roadmap to enhancing awareness and localizing the Sustainable Development Goals, ensuring no one is left behind.
